Knee Pain
Knee instability can cause pain locally and can even lead to pain in the low back and hips. When your knee is unstable, it can change how you walk, stand, and even sleep. We use Kinesio tape to help reduce instability in the knee and improve the strength of surrounding structures to create long-term relief.

Back & Neck Pain
At 417 Spine, low back and neck pain are the two most common conditions we treat. Along with pain, many clients suffer from muscle spasms, inflammation, and misalignment. Kinesio tape facilitates the recovery process by reducing the instability in these muscle groups.

What is Kinesio Tape?

Kinesio Tape is a latex-free, cotton fiber tape that is applied to the skin to gently lift the skin away from the muscle fibers inside the body.

By lifting the skin away from the muscle more space is created to increase lymphatic drainage and decrease inflammation.

We use kinesio tape to treat everything from sports injuries, low back pain and neck pain to plantar fasciitis and shoulder problems.

Reduces Inflammation & Pain

Kinesio Tape has positive physiological effects on the skin, lymphatic and circulatory systems, fascia, muscles, ligaments, tendons, and joints. These physiological changes include decreasing muscle spasms, reducing inflammation, and eliminating pain from sports injuries.

Improves Healing

Kinesio tape is a passive therapy that continues to work for 2-3 days after it is applied, and it’s very easy to conceal. This treatment continues to help you even when you are not inside our office, allowing you to heal more consistently and have more lasting functional improvements.

Strengthens Muscles & Joint Areas

When you experience muscle tightness and swelling in areas of pain, it is our job as chiropractors to determine the best method for improving their function.

Kinesio tape has given us the ability to not only reduce the spasm and swelling, but completely re-educate the muscle patterns in the body to be stronger, more efficient, and work the way in which they were designed.
